Our Kinstugi Career Launchpad

As the summer break concludes, Pifinity has resumed its flagship program, the Kintsugi Career Launchpad, and begun conducting sessions for grade 9, 10, and 12 students, with the 11th graders yet to begin.

This program empowers under-served high school students with skills, knowledge, and confidence for their future. Through interactive workshops, personalised mentoring, and exposure to diverse Career paths, students discover their passions, develop essential 21st-century skills, and chart a course for College and beyond.

The sessions for grade 9 and 10 students were conducted at Ramagondanahalli Government School, with a whopping participation of 115 and 105 students respectively. And sessions for Grade 12 (Second PU) students were conducted at Government PU College, K R Puram, with 285 students attending the session.

We’re pleased to announce that we have already launched the mentoring program for these 12th-grade students. Learn more about our Kintsugi Career Launchpad program and how it’s transforming the Lives of first-generation learners.

Pifinity Catalyst Program Launch

Student Mentors: Throughout June, Pifinity was buzzing with excitement, which has not yet died down. We have finally launched our Mentoring Program, and up to 60 volunteers have signed up as Student Mentors with us!

Student Mentors provide one-on-one guidance, support, and encouragement to students as they navigate their academic and career journeys.

We have had onboarding sessions for them, providing all relevant information about Pifinity, the cause we are working towards, and how they will contribute to it. The program has gained traction with few Student Mentors already having started the mentoring sessions with their mentees.

The program is aimed at providing the right career guidance, while emphasising the relevance of 21st century skills to under-served students, who may lack mentors to guide them in the right direction.

Industry Insight Mentors: We have often stressed the fact that the under-served students have limited access to Industry Professionals who can provide crucial guidance on Career choices. This is where AMA (Ask Me Anything) Sessions come into the picture, offering a platform for direct interaction with experienced professionals.

Industry Insight Mentors share their expertise through webinars and Q&A sessions, giving students a glimpse into different Career paths and industries. In April, we covered webinars on various Career paths, including

(i) “Exploring Software Engineering” by Ajit Ahluwalia and Apoorve G,

ii) “Discovering Medical Professions” with Dr. Jaya Guthala, and

ii) Insights into “Teaching as a Career” from Sangeetha, of the Teachers Collective.

We are excited to inform you that we have a diverse line-up of many more webinars planned for July & August!

Pifinity Library Launch

A library has the potential to change Lives, and we at Pifinity are driving that change by launching a Library focused on entrance exam preparation materials for higher studies at Government PU College, K R Puram

The idea of launching a library came from our school visits, where a myriad of students expressed concern regarding lack of adequate preparation materials in the library. Keeping this in mind, Pifinity ensured that the essential resources needed for entrance exams are part of their College’s Library.

Every book borrowed here is a step towards a promising future! Support our Library initiative and help students access the resources they need to succeed.

Pifinity’s Fundraising Campaign for D. Trisha Advika

Pifinity’s reminiscence of June will begin with the successful campaign drive we had for one of the many deserving students, D. Trisha Advika.

Trisha has an impeccable academic record; however, financial challenges remained an obstacle in securing her admission for undergraduate studies. Her father managed to pay the first instalment of ₹43,500, but they needed help with the remaining ₹43,500.

And thanks to the unwavering support of our Donors, we are happy to announce that we have reached our goal of raising the remaining ₹43,500! We have delivered the first instalment of this raised amount to St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, with the remaining balance to be paid later, as required. This ensures that Trisha can continue her education without any financial worries.

We at Pifinity, extend our heartfelt “Thank You” to every Donor, who has now become a part of Trisha’s success story! Donate now to support students like Trisha and help them achieve their dreams.

Partner Highlight

Pifinity partnered with the organisation “Let’s Do Some Good”, which significantly contributed to the success of Trisha’s fundraising campaign.

Let’s Do Some Good’s core values, “Be Kind, Be Compassionate, Become a Do-gooder,” never fails to inspire our efforts at Piffinity. We extend our sincere Thanks to the team and especially Ramesh Puttanna, for helping us reach our fundraising goal, and ensuring that Trisha can continue her education without financial barriers.

Ramesh Puttanna, an engineer who served the DRDO for over two decades, later transitioned to management education and retired as an Associate Professor at ISME in 2014.
